The Village of the Arts, the Gulf Coast's largest art community, celebrates the opening of Bradenton's new Riverwalk with the themed ArtWalk, "A River of Art in Blue" on Friday, October 5th from 6 to 9:30pm and Saturday, October 6th from 11 to 4pm. Galleries and restaurants throughout the Village will display an array of blue and blues themed art, music and food for the event. Galleries have designed exhibits around the "Blue" and "Blues" theme, including Dancing Crane Gallery presenting "The Crane Sings the Blues," Divine Excess Folk Arts where resident artists contribute to "Frida Kahlo Gets the Blues, Joan Peters Studio displaying "Seascape Blues," Music Music with "Music Plays the Blues," Baobab Tree Gallery showing "Blue Fish Blitz" and Bits & Pieces displaying "Quilted Blues." Come out and get the blues (in a good way).

The Village of the Arts is a community of artists living and working together. With over thirty artists, the Village is Florida’s largest art community. Monthly ArtWalks fill the streets with art lovers looking for affordable fine art, jewelry, ceramics, small furniture, bookshops, clothing, collectibles, gourmet cafes and more. Check our event listings for gallery opening, special events, lectures and more!

The Village is supported by The Artists Guild of Manatee, a  501(c) 3 non-profit group. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Artists Guild of Manatee, please see our membership form or call 941-747-8056.

ArtWalks are the first weekend of every month:  Fri. 6 - 9:30pm & Sat. 11am - 4pm
