The Village of the Arts is a vibrant community of artists living and working together in Bradenton, Florida. With over thirty-five artists, the Village is Florida’s largest art community. ArtWalks fill the streets with art lovers looking for affordable fine art, jewelry, ceramics, designer wear and collectibles of all kinds. You'll also find an inviting bookstore, gourmet cafes and many special events. We have a new Village newsletter chock full of news and other info. If you would like to receive our monthly e-newsletters via email please contact us.

Most galleries are open Fridays & Saturdays and many have extended hours during the week. Check listings for days/hours of individual galleries on our Artists and Galleries page. ArtWalks are the first Friday of each month, 6 - 9:30pm and first Saturday, 11am to 4pm.

The Village will have a new gateway sculpture soon at the corner of

9th Ave. West and 12th St. West

Chrysalis Launcher was selected by Realize Bradenton's Public Art Selection Panel because they felt it portrayed the dynamism and creativity that characterizes the Village of the Arts, as well as communicating a sense of energy, growth and future development. The elongated, water-jet cut aluminum, oval wings seem to be flying out of the chrysalis-inspired base which will be installed on an angle that points towards the interior of the Village. The wing colors are derived from the colors of Village structures. Three additional sets of wings will be attached to lightpoles on the perimeter of the Village to signify additional entry points.
